Just had a virtual consult with a doc (reluctantly because I did not what to pay for it lol). Instead of an anti-emetic like the ones listed in Stan's guide being prescribed, I was prescribed Nozer Capsules (for stomach ulcers) and Adco-alzam Tablets (for anxiety) - at least now I'll be super calm.

I don't think any of these will replace Meto anti-emetics. Any thoughts?

I have one option left which is to ask my mother's doc (she's a longtime family friend) for the prescription but that may raise some suspicion considering that I was genuinly ill with nausea a couple weeks back. Might seem weird to only ask for it now.

Would appreciate any thoughts. Meticulously planning one's own death is mentally tirering. I don't want to over think this or fuck it up :)

I have everything else that I need to go out with S, just need the anti-emetic. If I can't get it, I'll have to do without it. (And yes I have read and re-read Stan's guide along with other threads detailing this method and all the pros/cons of leaving out the anti-emetic).

One option is to wait a bit and ask again, saying that the other thing didn't help you at all.

Thanks for your input :) Doc said that it would "take some time for the medicine to effective". At least 2-4 weeks! Waiting that long will complicate things for me.

I would ask your mother's doc and just say that you are suffering from nausea again since you already established the fate that it can happen 3 weeks ago so it might not come off as suspicious

Can you not get Buccastem. They are over the counter or you can buy online without a prescription.

This!

I'd try this and also say that you already tried XYZ and you heard M may be an oldie but worth trying.

(MCP drops were totally standard when I was a kid and would get sick in the back of the car - no idea why they are so difficult to get now)

I did the same thing and this worked for me.
And I agree that planning one's own death is excruciatingly tirering. :-(

Same, no AE, with N is not essential though. I'll try with Dramamine, motion sickness pills.

Dramamine (Gravol) yes, same here.

And I heard Quetiapine also works?
It's not mentioned in the PPeH but apparently in Stan's guide for SN.

Well… I just answered my own question:
Article in medical journal on Quetiapine used instead of M/O in senior patients.

Have you tried an online pharmacy?
Even online pharmacies like Gold… require you to upload an actual Rx to order M.

I was able to get M online without having had it before. I filled out an online questionnaire for my symptoms, which was reviewed by a doctor. Then it was prescribed and posted to me.

I have access to Quetiapine but it was not prescribed to me. Is there a risk of taking it just for the S fast? I don't want to get sick and sabotage going through with everything.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will take a look at what names Buccastem goes by where I am. From my initial search its not listed in my country under that name but will take a deeper dive
Have you tried an online pharmacy?
Online Pharmacy in my country requires a prespription for meds over schedule 3. That's why I consulted with the doc.

Quetiapine will make you very drowsy, sleepy and reduce anxiety.
That can be beneficial but it can also lower your "need" to CTB.
Otherwise look up side effects via webmd. It's a fairly safe drug and often prescribed off label for anxiety and sleep instead of benzodiazepines.

Yeah the drowsiness is what concerns me for the 48 hr regimen. Would I still follow stan's regimen of Metoclopramide but instead with Q? Seems like it'd be a lot of Q if I follow the regimen in the guide

That I can't tell you. The dosage would be different too. They come as small as 25mg but totally knock me out if I take 2.
I'm still trying to find a pharmacy that also "prescribes". Unfortunately it seems dokt…onl… only ships to UK.

Yes, some sites do that, but won't ship it outside their country or the EU. I've tried a few. Still looking.

Yeh I was surprised and lucky that I was able to get it this way in my country. I really hope you manage to find a similar site where you are.

Thanks everyone for your input. I just managed to get a prescription for motilium (domperidone). I had to try so hard to stop myself from smiling since I'm meant to be "ill" lol

I had the exact same problem with an online pharmacy, and I didn't fill the prescription and I sent in a complaint to their customer service saying that they wouldn't prescribe something that a friend had used very effectively. I said that I knew that meto had some risks over time but I was willing to take the risk because of how effective this was. Their customer service refunded my payment and then I tried again giving my reasoning for wanting meto up front and the second doctor prescribed meto.

Glad it all worked out for you @Someone123 . Your approach seemed to be spot on. I regretted not being more upfront in my initial doc consultation and exactly stating what I wanted. I was direct in describing 'symptoms' but vague in asking for the necessary meds.

Per the advise of members in this thread I asked my family doc directly for motilium (domperidon). A 2 minute phone call with no questions asked. I just stated that I have nausea and that this is what's helped me in the past. I specifically did not ask for Clopamon (i.e. Metoclopramide) because they're usually prescribed to chemo patients here and I could not fuck up my last chance of getting a prescription because of too many questions asked. In the end it all worked out so YAY!

To anyone reading this, try to keep it as simple as possible. Planning to ctb with dignity and forethought is complicated enough.

For me this is how I got motilium (liquid form).

I installed an medicine delivery app, it connected me with a pharmacy. I told the pharmacist on phone that I got COVID-19, often got nauseous feeling when eating and when sleeping at night.

Then the pharmacist askes me what meds I was using for COVID. Luckily, I got COVID for real at that time, the nauseous feeling was also actually real (but not that severe), so I told her the meds I was using. She then agreed to sell me motilium. I paid for med price and shipping fee. That's it.

Dont you have those online prescription sites, where people type their symptoms, some doc read it and give the code to pharmacy? There are many in my country (Poland).

I ordered some meto from InhousePharmacy which is a tiny island in the Pacific somewhere. It's about as far away from the UK as you can imagine nearly a month ago. It must have been sitting in customs for awhile. I was expecting it to get destroyed and get a letter through the door so I was surprised it arrived this morning.

I've read I don't really need it for N and I have some Buccastem too which I got from Boots. I'm not sure I'm even going to use it reading the thread on here earlier but it's there if I need it.

Maybe try there..(They wouldn't accept Visa or Mastercard so had to pay via Amex).
