Note:
In one of the previous paragraphs, I said: "then they'll inherently want (or need), to leave this life/existence, as soon as possible."
-- In this sentence, the key words that need to be deeply understood, are: "or need".
-- Ie, it's important to recognise, that this is not a "want".
Indeed, the freedom to move away from suffering, is not a luxury, it is a necessity, and moreover, it's the most fundamental of rights.
This is true, because if this statement was not true, then torture/rape/etc, would be acceptable, and legal.
Ie, if you believe that the freedom to move away from suffering, is a luxury, (and not a necessity, nor a right of the individual), then the following applies to you:
If (in the future), you are kidnapped, and kept as a prisoner in someone's basement (where you can't escape), and you are then raped and tortured on a daily basis, (and you want to escape from it), then other people can say, that your desire to escape, (ie, be free from this intolerable suffering), is just a desire, (a luxury), not a need, (and not a necessity), nor a right that you have.
Ie, the key point is, that if you do not have the freedom (right) to move away from suffering, then the perpetrator is legally allowed to keep raping and torturing you, for the rest of your entire life.
Ie, if society makes it illegal (and unacceptable), for there to be this charity/service/building, (which allows a person an instant/painless/effortless/guaranteed way out of life), then society is inherently saying, that it's perfectly legal (and acceptable), for a person to kidnap you, and imprison you in their basement, and rape and torture you on a daily basis, (because you (the victim), has no right to demand, that you have the freedom (right), to move away from this suffering).
