Expired Meto/Old SN?

I got sn 2 years ago that I only opened briefly and meto that expired according to label in July 2021. Are these still good to use? I don't want to get a fake prescription again and get another SN bottle because I think it's harder to get these days, but I don't want to take them and it doesn't kill me but I get really sick because it doesn't work right.
Also how do you do the blood test for SN?

To test the SN, just get some blood out of your finger and mix the blood with SN. If the blood goes dark then it's still useable.
The expiration I'm not sure of but i can't imagine that a year for meto would make it not work

The SN should still be good. The. Manufacturer guarantees that the SN is good for at least 3 years. Opening it briefly is ok. It only turns to nitrate after prolonged exposure to air. You can do a blood test to check it. Mix a few drops of blood with the SN. It should turn a dark brown color.

The metro is probably stiill good .They have tested many expired drugs and found that they are still good 5 years past the expiration date. Even so for something this important , it's probably not a good idea to use expired medicine. I think it would be better not to risk it and to try to get some new metro if you can.
