Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm over 50 and have a qualifying condition and I will off my ass at home rather than giving money to an organization that belittles the very real suffering that younger people go through.
I don't think mocking them would so anything but waste our energy. We either do something that exposes or impacts them financially or legally, or nothing at all
This is awful and insensitive. Even Exit is a business I guess. No one really cares about our sufferings except the people in these forums. Sad. Sorry for your suffering stopthepain.
Exactly. Exit is just a business and never cared for us at all. This used to be an unpopular opinion, but I hope cases like this one start opening people's eyes.

Exit offers membership on an annual or lifetime subscription basis for people over 50 or who are suffering from serious illness.
For those under 50 years, membership is granted at the discretion of Exit International.
Our philosophy at Exit is that every adult of sound mind has the right to implement plans for the end of their life so that their death is reliable, peaceful and at a time of their choosing.
They might make an exception for younger people suffering from some recognized and diagnosed illnesses but if you mention anything that is interpreted as "mental illness", they will probably not take you seriously. Just like everywhere else.
If you mention taking psych drugs at all, let alone being damaged by them, you might as well be saying you want to die because aliens are chasing you or something.

might be that English isn't the first language of the person and they were hoping you found reasons to live, but it came out wrong. "Get a life" the way we think it's meant here is weird thing to say in the same sentence that acknowledges you have medical issues
That is a seriously fucked up comment. This really shows what type of people they are. Talking shit to somebody who is disabled and has intense suffering. I'm tired of people minimizing suffering especially this organization which says you cant suffer and pursue a peaceful death until your over 50. Thats bullshit!
The only reason Nitschke helped Adam Mayer Clayton was probably just to get publicity and have his name out there more. Im glad that he puts out the info that he does but I think he's not a good person and question his motives towards his work. Pegasus is no better either. Wanting me to send all this money up front before they would even talk to me.
I myself abandoned those routes a long time ago and when the time comes will hang myself instead of giving any of these bullshit organizations my money. Don't waste your time with them. There are other options and info is out there. I will be the only person who is in charge of my death and not anybody else. I only get to die once and I want to do it right.

I think Jill is the one who needs to get a life instead. What demented flavor of human spends their time berating a disabled person who reaches out for compassion in a moment of weakness?
There's something charlatan-esque about Exit's polices that I've never quite been able to put my finger on. Whether it's gatekeeping younger people with severe illnesses, or posting colorful flash sale banner advertisements for the PPH (with added salesman pitch sleaze included) none of it sits right with me.

This screams translation issue to me. "Get a life" is an English turn of phrase and could be easily misused by someone who isn't familiar with the connotation. Exit's age policies are another issue, but I believe there are legal restrictions involved. No matter the intent, it's still an upsetting response to receive.
Ouch. I am unable to 'get a life' too due to my incurable and degenerative illness. I am now incontinent, can't eat properly, can't sleep without medicine, in pain constantly and with serious fatigue and brain fog. I get that in order to be somewhat tolerated by the countries in which they operate, Exit sticks to minimum age etc. But in doing so it does seem to imply that those younger can't suffer from failing bodies and subsequent very poor quality of life. Although they have the right to their membership guidelines, the current guidelines still don't feel fair for someone like me, but what's worse is the way she said it. Cruel basically. Clearly she has never suffered from having everything taken away by a disease.
Ideal situation is that the person in charge of emails does not speak English at a native situation and does not know the social meaning of "get a life".

Hey, i send exit International an Email that i would like to get a member to Support the activism and that i would like to get access to the forum. I told her about my incurable neurobiological illness, that all treatment failed for 3 years and that i am disabled in day to Day torture. This Was the Response.
What email address did you send your request to? I purchased the peaceful pill e-handbook 3 weeks ago. My credit card has been charged but I have yet to receive the handbook nor have they replied to my emails about my order. They just took my money.
