Exit International forums - anyone here who has access?

Frequently wondering if they're talking about new methods or sources in that age-gated walled garden of theirs. More sources of SN would be great (Europe sources especially), since they're not putting them in the PPH...

I'm an EXIT member and they rejected my request to join the forum! They said I met the qualifications, but would not give a reason.

This was in March. I was in tears and now I'm just pissed .

Phillip mentions the forums constantly in his hour-long live-streams, but then denies members from entering the precious forum to ask questions.

I'm so glad I found this site!

I obviously can't speak for Phillip. I don't know why I was discriminated against by the person who runs the forum (probably Phillip).

However, I did ask him why the age limit was 50 during a livestream on the Sarco. I think the impertinence of the question given the topic annoyed him. His answer was something like 'Look, there has to be an age limit, and 50 seemed like a good one because of life experience.' Then, I think he said something about being accused by media or pro lifers of helping children to die.

My memory is lousy. Sorry. When I asked the question (and he knows this better than anyone), I pointed out that I knew people much younger who were suffering with a variety of horribly debilitating diseases and they have nowhere to go, nor do they have money for the Swiss option.

Basically, I must think he doesn't want even more scrutiny than he already gets.

After getting rejected from the forum, I don't think as highly of him as I did.

I wish that he would at least start lowering the age. But, I also know people are on there that have used the name and ID of a friend or family member that's over 50. That's not doable for most, and it certainly wouldn't have been for me.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I was slightly disappointed that he took such a hard stance on his minimum age requirement. 50 is arbitrary as any person can use an I.D without permission. To your point, there are many young individuals suffering terrible conditions that could use his help.

Personally, I was considering his organization for the Swiss option but now will have to do it independently.

For members who want to join the forum, they need to take a selfie while holding their photo ID. I did that and was still refused!

Could it be that membership payment didn't match? Or was it related to your questions asked? Phillip did help a 28 yr old from Canada but I'm guessing the media criticized him.

I'm so jealous of those in the Netherlands. They actually have options there when they had enough.

I already envy Canadians with their liberal MAID laws, but when they add mental illness to the laws next Match, I'm glad I won't be here to envy them even more!

The US has the worst of any country with dignity in dying. Australia you need to be given 12 months or less to live, which is terrible, but. the states in the US with its 6 months is what I refer to as the "Since You're About To Die Anyway States."

Phillip calls the DWD here "Beg & grovel laws." The only right one has is to request MAID, but they can be rejected for many reasons, including the subjectivity of the doctors' opinions.

Yes I even called liev thienpont the doctor who agreed to hell those younger persons but she said theh gave so many in their own country they will hell first before they can consider anyone from overseas. You have to live there to apply

Swiss option you must have money. They won't even answer questions unless you join and that costs money. They replied within 24 hrs but as soon as they knew I had no money they don't even respond. I want a guarantee that they'd do it before I go to a loan shark and take out a loan I know will never be repaid. They're not in it help people and to stop suffering, they're in it to make money. Getting put out of misery in guaranteed painless way is only for wealthy
