I need help finding out how to use a exit bag does it need to be super tight around the neck? Or does it need to be open to remove the co2 so I don't freak out halfway through also helium is way more Accessible then nitrous also cheaper I plan on doing a shot of heroin before hand to kind of relax me some if anyone has any links to videos I'd highly Apreciate

No, it doesn't need to be tight, the exhaled gas can be expelled out loose areas. It needs somewhere to go

if you didn't know, many of the companies that sell helium tanks for filling balloons mix in a certain amount of regular air which makes it useless to ctb with. so make sure you're getting pure helium.

nope, Balloon Time tanks are 20% air so they're no good for this method. was bummed when i learned that

Well that's great I've been planning this out since yesterday
I just looked they used to be 97-98% helium but because of a helium shortage they are 80% which sucks I found one that says it's 100% pure helium for $50 idk if that's actually true or not

The pattern proposed by the PPeH is probably the best one.

Note that nowadays there are better solutions than the traditional ExitBag, like SCBA, Positive Pressure SCUBA, EEBD hood, full face snorkeling mask.

I wonder what is the benefit of the attached bag variant over a more simpler one. It seems quite complicated. Why is it better than a simple elastic tape insertion with a cordlock, with only one cut in the middle where the two ends come out ?

It has a fold that contains the cord and it's reinforced with surgical tape, it's a very stable/robust design.
Not like is mandatory tho, people have CTB'd with inert gas using extremely simple setups.

I second this. Make sure your tank is 100% the gas you chose (N2, Argon, Helium...) and not mixed with air. This is very important.

I don't know what their intention was, but what they're preventing is people from dying painlessly, cause a desperate person will either try a helium unaware of its impure nature and end dramatically incapacitated or just switch his possibilities to another more painful method.
