Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

As the title says, I haven't seen threads talking about this, even in the PPeH, while there's a case of medical/COVIDface masks, there's none for military surplus/CBRN. Why not consider a military gas mask for an exit bag?

I've personally worn one. The argument of "maintaining an effective seal against air leakage" is non-existent with those. I can tighten the straps to the point that my face literally starts hurting from how tight it is. Testing the seal is possible too, as blocking the air intake/filter part and inhaling just sucks the mask itself closer to your face since it can't intake air. I myself would 100% trust the air seal of such a gas mask. The ability to exhale CO2 out of the mask without compromising the air inside would be a big plus too.

I personally don't know much about piping and atmospherics, no idea if there is an actual, proper way to connect a gas intake. Though since the connection port is threaded, theoretically it should be possible. I don't think this is too much of an obstacle however, if people can tie a plastic bag around their heads, surely some duct tape around a small connection port shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Thoughts on this? Am I delusional or is there some logic in my thinking?

People used those, you can search the forum for it. Of course that would work. Gas Masks don't let the enviromental air in (wouldn't work as gas masks otherwise). They just need to be modified. People are a bit squeamish about that and find inert gas already too technical to begin with, so you do not find a lot but defintively possible.

Maybe they mentioned it in goodbye threads, or I just didn't search thoroughly enough, didn't come across such threads. I'm extremely curious about this now. Would love to have the materials ready just to see if it works at all.
