Hes kind of religious so thinks the soul could feel pain after death I guessWhy would you have pain after death? Lol
Oh shit whoopssuicide is greedy is a new take, not really. it sounds like suicide is selfish but weirder
also scott's name is there, slight risk in that perhaps
So true like are other people constantly looking out for your needs? Probably notI've gotten this before, it's annoying. I'm sick of constantly looking out for everyone else's feelings and needs and not looking inward for what I want and desire
I just posted about how I had been raised to put everyone else's needs before my own and how hard that behavior is to change. Even as a somewhat rational adult I still feel a tremendous amount of guilt when I do something for myself. But it I AM getting better. So

Greedy? No, there is nothing greedy about suicide. People love to play the "suicide is selfish!" Card because it helps alleviate their own guilt instead of having the guts to face their own shortcomings. They don't want to admit that they want to keep you around for their own gain, and that you leaving the equation means they have to look for another person to feed their egos. Saying it like that makes them seem like they're the bad people, which is something very few, if not none, of them have the capacity to reflect on in any meaningful way.Just had this conversation with a friend it irritated me lolView attachment 164714
I'm sorry, but I hate arguments like these. They are genuinely so lazy and dumb. I've heard people who have suffered like hell refer to suicide as selfish. It has nothing to do with suffering and is more of a reflection of things, like the culture and/or people you grew up with. That attitude tells me they have never truly suffered in their life.
True especially older generation . Pick yourself up by your bootstraps mentalityI'm sorry, but I hate arguments like these. They are genuinely so lazy and dumb. My soul mate has been amazing with this, never once calling me selfish.Just had this conversation with a friend it irritated me lolView attachment 164714
I dunno why they say that. (And I am one of that group.) Personally I think it has a lot more to do with always thinking about alternative ways to accomplish whatever it is you want to do, exercising a little introspection, and being a fucking stubborn bitch than "working harder". And there are plenty of things in this world that working harder will never get you, ya know?True especially older generation . Pick yourself up by your bootstraps mentality
I have never come across a suicidal person who wasn't thinking about the effects it would have on someone else.I think suicide is selfish. How is it not? In my opinion it's also important to consider the implications suicide has on others, though I am not a fan of guilt tripping and the effects it has on people who are already in a fragile mental state. I suppose the "think of your loved ones" sentiment is a bit of a water-is-wet statement, but some people are very impulsive and clouded in emotions.
