Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As that would be my ultimate choice… professional help, clean, controlled, certain… i know it differs a lot per country and even in Holland it's a real years long trajectory if it comes to mental health… still though… i want that!

I understand, I just wish for a painless guaranteed death as well with no more suffering, I just want to never suffer ever again, I see so much cruelty in how that is denied with suffering seen as to force and prolong no matter what, it'd bring me so much peace to be able to simply cease existing in such a way.

Euthanasia is not always clean, controlled...

Euthanasia by a doctor in the Netherlands is not idiot-proof.
Most cases of euthanasia are performed by a general practitioner. Usually, GPs have little experience with it.

There have been cases where the order of the medications was reversed, according to the Dutch Euthanasia Review Committee. The patient in question first received a paralyzing agent and only then a sedative (thiopental or propofol). As a result, the patient suffocated while fully conscious. A horrific death.

In the Netherlands, it is also possible to choose a drink (this is referred to as assisted suicide, not euthanasia). In this case, you drink the substance (pentobarbital) yourself and are not dependent on a doctor. That's why I recommend the drink for anyone eligible for euthanasia or assisted suicide. Or, make sure the doctor has experience with euthanasia before deciding.
