I've been having it for 18 months. I found it really helped until I changed my therapist and now we haven't clicked properly so it's not so good. I can't say anything though I'll just stick it out till the end

How is the therapy going? I need to move soon so will be changing therapists

The reason I asked, is because I am finding it retraumatising..... I'm sorry you need this, feel free to pm me. Seems we have some things in common

It is really retraumatising but you come out of the other side and the trauma feels far away. You're not reliving it any other way. I couldn't do it with the new therapist. It was impossible

I've moved area and waiting on appointment with new therapist. My last therapist was off long term sick for a while, turned out he was suicidal. Now on medication I took my new dog in for puppy therapy one day, no session, he had a student in observing one day, I couldn't settle into it. Hoping the fresh start is someone I can build a rapore with for I'm losing hope at the minute.

Tell them you're losing hope. The one that was amazing I told her it was my last go at trying. I really thought it was but she gave me something I never had before. Hope

Recently there was an experiment where they put an implant to a woman to cure her severe depression. It works kind of like emdr.
