well i called the mental health place today and as always just got the run around,told them the Xanax is no longer working and when i spoke to my regular pshyc about getting on something different like Valium,klonopin a longer acting one she simply said go find someone else and get a second opinion,like WTF here where i am in Ohio the mental health system sucks they said it would be months before i could even see someone and i need to do therapy first,these dumb asses don't realize i have debilitating anxiety to where i don't even leave my house along with chronic back pain, I been so useless because of all this and only been suffering for my loved ones sake,but by tomorrow it will all be over,I feel as if i should hurt these Doctors at the same time, but will prob just do my method and be done with it...I have plenty of guns if i wanted to get my point across but instead maybe i will just just write a letter to the news and tell them there is a major problem with health care around here and that is why i took my life,either way i should be gone either tonight or no later then tomorrow have some things to do first but it is time!!!! I hope all of you can get through your issues or free yourselves from all the Misery this life brings...

I am seriously sorry that you've had this experience today, that is damn awful. I cannot understand for the life of me why mental health places cannot ALL be staffed by helpful and caring staff who want to listen and work through your issues with you to find a solution.

I am so sorry that you have to deal with a mental health system that is not understanding your treatment needs. It is extremely soul crushing and defeating. If Xanax is what is causing you problems, a competent doctor/psychiatrist would shift you to a longer acting medication such as klonopin, let you stabilize on it, and would let you decide whether you wanted to slowly taper off of klonopin or to stay on it. These are tough meds. They can surely all by themselves cause the suicidal thoughts and agoraphobia, but even coming off of them slowly is not a guarantee that those thoughts will go away. Before you make any decisions, you may want to check https://benzo.org.uk and https://benzo.org.uk/manual/ and https://www.benzoinfo.com/ to at least see what you are dealing with and get more informed about the situation.

I'm sorry for your situation and can relate to it. There is always the option of going to the ER. Briefly explain your predicament, bring the last bottle.
You should be able to get at least 5-6 buy yourself more time, and pressure the mental health facility to do the humane thing.

Yes, either ER or an urgent care mental health clinic should help if you are out of medication. After my insurance changed, the clinic where my primary doctor is gave me an Ativan script for 15 days to tide me over until I had the visit with my then new psychiatrist. I brought my Rx bottle, and they did it off of that. Wherever you end up going, please bring your Rx bottle with you.

Yes, exactly this. I don't really recommend going public about this as it will likely have little or no effect on society as a whole and in the event that you fail (unlikely, but not impossible), your life would be a million times worse than it currently is. My recommendation is that if you want to send a message, either do it through a delayed service or something that only first responders will find.
