So I've been doing my research on CTB using an EB w/ argon. I read about everyone making these complicated bags using elastic, but making sure that the bag doesnt get to tight to allow the CO2 to exit the bag. So with that i had been thinking, someone please correct me if i am wrong, but couldn't a rubberband be used to secure the bag around the neck while using a hose to pump the argon in tapped to the top of the bag & then just have a small piece of hose that isnt connected to anything at the bottom of the bag near your securing location that would allow the argon to push the co2 out of? If a person had a large enough tank of argon say 55cf, that size should be large enough with extra gas to escape & allow a person to CTB if an additional hose was used to push the CO2 out & excess pressure from the argon out too? someone please correct me if im wrong with my thinking
a one way check valve hooked in the out hose that would allow the gas out but not anything back in through that connection is what i was also thinking. Im not trying to reinvent the wheel here, just looking from peoples in put as to why or why not that would not work, any ideas appreciated. thanks
