Maybe I'm just cynical - easter eggs have been in stores since the 1st of January. Its the only time of year you can buy Cadbury Creme Eggs. We do get two public holidays so there's a four-day weekend, which is nice.

Oh I didn't realize. I think I already knew those eggs. It's nice to have 2 public holidays. We here only have one :/ Enjoy it!

Omg I also lived in Madeira for years. I really love it. Ahah it sounds funny to dress up as bunny's. Here we also eat a lot of chocolate eggs, it is my favorite part

I went for 5 days vacation but stayed for 2 years lol.

Going to a family gathering. Kinda looking forward to it more than usual this year which is good I guess. Celebrating holidays I personally don't believe in used to bother me but when you realize that they've been commercialized to the point they virtually no longer even serve their original purpose I find it much easier to turn my brain off and just try to enjoy myself for the day. Most people can't even tell you why eggs and rabbits anyway.

Ahaha isn't by chance that they say Madeira is the pearl of the Atlantic Ocean So I totally understand that you stayed there. I lived there for 6 years. No problem. It's how you feel better.
