  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Dying with dignity groups on FB are globally apparent now with many followers. In addition, official adverts show on my time line. Looks like we are gaining momentum in UK too on making it legal eventually.

That is good to hear. The right to die should always be respected and people should be able to exit peacefully at a time of their own choosing. No one should be forced to suffer against their wishes. To me, it is not surprising that so many people support this as we live in a world where there is so much suffering after all.
