I've not heard of these Canadian kits, although I'm in the UK and have not yet gone on the dark web, so maybe they aren't easy to get over here?
Could you link me aswell plz

Not to sound annoying, but I'd like info about those kits please!

Also, if someone could explain to me what AR from pets stores are….

It's difficult to find a DIN#13 SCBAs in US since the SCBA standard connection there is different (CGA-346 and CGA-347), the rest of the world uses DIN#13 (which is the same connection used in SCUBA). The EM kit has an added value in the US there since it is more difficult to build your own buying SCBA parts.

Take a look at the EEBD kit, is very good too and 60% cheaper than the SCBA kit.

The cheapest option of all is crafting your own ExitBag.
is there a benefit to scba over eebd/exit bag that warrants the higher price?

SCBA uses much less gas, since it only pumps on-demand. The mask can be more comfortable since it only covers the front of your face from forehead to chin, easier to use coz you only have to insert the demand valve into the mask and press the front button a bit to pre-fill before you exhale and start to breathe.

The EEBD hood covers all the upper part of the torso (head/neck/shoulders/chest). The pre-fill will be longer (you need to wait for it to be pre-filled before inserting the head).

The ExitBag is the most basic implementation. Since it doesn't have CO₂ exhalation valves it relies on optimal flow rate and neck gap for CO₂ purging. It also requires the user to hyperventilate for couple of minutes before starting, to reduce plasmatic CO₂ concentration (so you don't fill the bag with CO₂ in your first exhalation) and fully empty the lungs before inserting the head into the bag.

You don't need any tanks, exit bags SCUBA or any other gas equipment.

Just go to your local welding supply shop and pay a few bucks a liter for 6L of Liquid Nitrogen. You might need a cryogenic container for them to fill you up, but you can get a 6L Dewar on eBay for 150 bucks.

Liquid N2 has two advantages over ordinary compressed air N2.

One: Cheap and easy to source. You probably live within 10 miles of one right now at your local welding shop or dry ice cryogenic store. Dirt cheap at $2 a Liter. For Christ sakes it's cheaper than bottled water! You don't have to know anything about welding at all, just go online and print out liquid nitrogen ice cream recipe. It even says it on the fucking recipes to get the liquid nitrogen from a welding supply shop.

Two: LN2 (being cryogenic in liquid state) expands rapidly when exposed to atmosphere at a rate of 1:700 unit liquid to gas expansion ratio, equivalent to 4,700 gallons of N2 gas or enough to displace the entire atmosphere and it can find space such as a car. Being an inert gas, N2 tricks the brain to thinking you're breathing and normal oxygen failing to activate the body's hypercapnic alarm response. You pass out peacefully in a few breaths or two without the sense of suffocation, panic or distress associated with other gases. Because all you need is a small tent, car, closet or other confined space - you don't need any fancy equipment, just pour the LN2 into a styrofoam cooler and as it evaporates it will displace the composite atmospheric air creating an oxygen deficient environment. At 5% 02, instant death and coma results in a few minutes without warning.

Well I've tried getting Liquid Nitrogen in the UK and it's not as easy as it sounds. Closest gas shop to me don't do it on site and will only do it over the phone, and I couldn't find a proper cyrogenic store, just a reception like area that's only meant for businesses. There's also the issue of transportation, I've read they won't give you the Liquid Nitrogen if you don't have a proper vehicle to transport it in and a normal car won't cut it (it'll need to be something like a van with a partition inside, and I dunno how funny van hiring services would be with you trying to transport Liquid Nitrogen), and I highly doubt they'll just let you walk away with a filled dewar on foot.

(Btw please don't say just order it online, that's not possible for me, I live in support living in a block of flats, a giant Liquid Nitrogen tank truck is going to raise red flags.)

Nowadays it's easier than ever with the appearance of the Canadian kits in the market, with all the equipment ready to use, just to connect to a N₂ cylinder and fly.
Hey, could I please have the link as well?

A cheaper option is to buy SCBA parts, build a SCBA setup, and connect it to a Nitrogen cylinder using an air-to-nitrogen adapter, like DOGMA67, Wunderkind (and me) did. This technique was invented by SCUBA CTB pioneer Scrooge, later used by SlovakGuy (first documented case) and also used by @LetzteAusfahrt to assist suicide.

But such adapter is not available in all regions. Where are you from?
GM, I'm wondering if you ever saw @onewayroad 's post on his setup. It was an online search of this method that lead me to his posts and SS! I guess he'd already CTB when I found it. I really like the simplicity of his arrangement and I'm assuming it worked but I could be wrong as I have no way to confirm it. Thanks

The problem with that type of setup (constant flow mask) with no demand valve and no reservoir bag is that a very high flow rate would be needed to meet the demands of inhalation, since the mask has a very low inner volume it doesn't have a big reserve of gas like with the EEBD Hood or the ExitBag. The constant flow air purifiers with masks operate at a huge flow rate (over 60 LPM).
