Hey there! Been lurking alot and read pretty much every post on here about dry ice- the ideal plan is to ctb with my best friend in a few months using sleeping pills/weed/benzos to make us sleepy, and let a big thing of dry ice either melt next to us, or just as the drugs kick in turn the hot water on.

i have a tiny bathroom (maybe 5 sqft?) And hoped to line the bottom of the door with wet towels, but im worried some might seep out. The door fits pretty tight but you can see the smallest bit of light from outside and i just couldnt stand it if i ended up hurting someone. We are fairly poor and considered trying to get a hotel room but i doubt we will have the money.

I live with a roomate and have a 6 month old rabbit... does anyone have ideas of other places we could do this with running water? It honestly seems like one of the more peaceful ways to go... is it bad that im almost excited?

Hoping to make lots more memories inbetween now and then.

Sure "dry ice" is frozen CO2 and that is definitely a danger to anyone and to others. Dry ice sublimates from frozen to gas without a liquid stage. I don't know but I guess as a human body can detect CO2 and will activate the SI immediately this attempt may not be successful other than an atempt with CO produced via char coal. Carbon monoxide does not activate any SI in the humman body.

CO gas is even more dangerous to neighbours in a mutil-flat building than CO2. Please consider this fact.

As Praestat Mori pointed out, dry ice is made of CO2 so it will definitely wake you up and cause panic which would most likely be painful. Dry Ice sublimating also creates a lot of air pressure due to the difference in volume so it will likely leak out and may even pop open small gaps/holes in a completely airtight room if too much dry ice is used

Ty for suggestions! Read the megathreat on co and it looks super peaceful. I have a tent i can put ducktape on the inside or to cover the cracks around my bathroom door. Seems much cheaper, too. But my friend bailed and said either i was enabling him or he'd kill himself by himself no matter what i say. Sad, but i'd love if he could squeeze some more out of life for the both of us. I suppose it would be nice to find someone else, but he was the only one i didnt feel like i was drqgging down with me or who might get me hospitalized.

I am loving the backup plan. Anything that happens? Oh well. I'll buy some briqettes ^^

Just sharing this video of a guy testing dry ice in a car with his wife and kid! They got headaches and started hyperventilating but never passed out and were fine. There were people who died in pools with it so thought this was viable.

Dry ice is used in many attractions such as the Merlin Dungeons; thus, If it was dangerous, then it wouldn't be used.

CO2 is heavier than air, they just were not exposed to really high-concentrated carbon dioxide.

Yes, one of such cases is described here:

There are fog machines that only use a solution of distilled water and vegetable glycerine which is most likely used for attractions.
