I was a pretty heavy drinker before SSRIs. When I was drinking after SSRIs, I blacked out had barely any recollection of the night before. Also had weird, ominous, and barely legible scribblings in my notebook like "I've been hijacked" and "save me." Another time I had complete memory loss of the night before. All I know is that I was just throwing up and was completely unconscious after a while. When I came back I was just saying random shit. (*clarification: i was told this second-hand, i truly have no memory of even getting drunk)

Anyway, so I've stopped drinking as much while on SSRIs and only letting myself get buzzed. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?

dont really recommend. it isnt recommended in general like medically, beyond my personal experience. no memory loss or babbling but puking and nausea yes. dont know if youre interested in stopping drinking but if you are, wellbutrin is an antidepressant that also doubles as a cessation medication for smoking and drinking with a decent rate of success.

depends on meds. Look up how your substance work
At best it cancels SSRI's effects

Trintellix 10mg. No difference here when I drink I'm a lightweight regardless.

I've heard with Lexapro the drinks hit harder. Overall it probably depends on the type of SSRI. I would try not to drink at all because it can mess with your recovery
