You know those types of dreams where you finally have everything that you want, or you're actually excited or happy about something for once? I'm interested in hearing about some of those dreams that people here have had if you'd like you share.
I think that sometimes they can help reveal what it is that you wish you had out of life or what things you actually do enjoy.

I tend to have many dreams like this, I had one last night that was kind of a silly version of this but I was in a shop that had clothes, jewelry, trinkets, etc of my dreams and I remember being so excited to buy everything I wanted. Now I think this type of dream may be a little shallow compared to others cause it shows a more consumerist desire I guess, but hey I was really happy and excited in my dream and when I woke up I was disappointed that I wasn't actually running out of that store with all the little knick knacks I had bought.

But I also often have dreams where I'm reconnecting with old friends or exes which may just be my brain regurgitating old memories but it might also reveal a real desire for friendship and/or intimacy like I used to have in those relationships.

A year has passed since parting with my only true love, the love of my life. The hardest thing of all is that I ended that relationship under the pressure of external circumstances, the burden of that responsibility is killing me. After a year, it's even harder for me, especially since I feel that the feelings between us still exist. met her, I told her my three last dreams that I had three nights in a row. She listened carefully and although she was angry with me, I knew that she was not indifferent to me either. I love her immensely and I will never come to terms with the fact that I have to live without her.

My dreams are either really happy, or if I'm in a terrible headspace, I'll dream of dying or my funeral or whatever, probably reflecting a desire to die.

I always have intense negative dreams about things that I'm worried about which kinda show up in a plot, really strange

That's honestly not super abnormal. If you're intensely worried about something, it will be on your mind. Your dreams are usually a reflection of your thoughts. You can sometimes even influence your dreams by thinking of certain things in the hours before you go to sleep.

Yea bit it keeps coming back, it's not something I trully worry about all the time.
Got the same theme for years now.

Reliving happy moments with my family when I was a kid or experiencing beautiful moments that never happened in real life with my family (again, as a kid).

Such moments could be picnic days or all together picking up my father from work to go eat fast food in a clean, wonderful, and secure downtown area (which it isn't in real life).

I always wake up with my eyes soaked in tears.
