To be a great husband.
To get swole.
To get a PhD in pharmacology.
To get over my depression.

I wished to spend my time inventing my own formulas for almost everything that I come across, but that just requires a mindset that I just can't reach anymore.

I used to have a bunch of dreams and goals. Materialistic goals like getting a nice apartement, get a cool-looking motorcycle and a strong computer with which I can play all games on max Settings, experiences like going hiking in beautiful nature spots like mountains, spend a couple weeks on the countryside in the middle of nowhere or a trip to Japan or pipe dreams like being good looking, owning a large, beautiful, quiet property, be a millionnaire or have a cute girl that loves me. I'd also be more than happy to just have a healthy body or be freed of negative emotions, if that counts as a dream. Or just being happy overall.
But nowadays there's nothing, I ditched all goals and aspirations. None of those things will ever happen, they're just dreams. It's best not to dwell on false hope.

All I've ever wanted is to have true love. I just wanted a loving and loyal guy to marry and spend the rest of my life with, I'd do anything for him. Someone I could be devoted to, to support fully, make happy, to give all of my love and affection to, to have kids with, to grow old together... everything I had daydreamed about during my high school years. I would do anything to make him happy. I believe that I've found the one but sadly, he left.

I have hope that he will come back. His possible return is the only reason that I'm still here.

Best way to get #2 fulfilled is hack a big company without doing any damage, then inform them how you did it, and how they need to improve. Seen so many stories of people being offered big money jobs by doing that - or game modders getting jobs at the software company whose games they modded. I've no idea how talented you need to be for either though, my IT knowledge only extents to being able to create a presentation or fill in a spreadsheet. Just above Kindergarten level basically.

That's a small scenario I love to play out in my head! Being able to pull something like that off and then get hired :) As of now I don't have the skillset required to do such a thing but who knows maybe in the future.

I'm sure you're more than capable if you put your mind to it :) if you ever do get to be a Neo level hacker, remember me and go stash a load of incriminating evidence on Boris Johnsons computer for me. Make out he likes dressing as a baby for sexual kicks or something, he deserves a public shaming in the papers.

Saying that he's an MP, you'd probably find it already on his computer.

Hi! I've been wondering what dreams and goals you guys haven't achieved yet and won't achieve if you ctb?

For me my biggest goal was to work for UNICEF and help as many humans as I could. I also wanted to become an animal rights activist. I just wanted to help but unfortunately I just shouldn't?
My anxiety and depression make my life very hard for me to live.
Every time I think about committing suicide tho I feel so selfish because I won't be able to help people in the future if I leave.
It's probably dumb idk.

my goal for years has been to become a NICU nurse in order to help the really small, sick babies. pediatric nursing has always just been my calling. and i also wanted to own a bakery after i retire from nursing. just things that help people or bring them happiness. but i don't know that i will live to see it

My biggest dream was to open a non-profit girls home for girls left in the foster care system. I wanted it to have state of the art amenities. A music studio, gym, pool, therapy room and library. I wanted to ask rich doners to support it and to take 6 girls and hopefully give them a chance that I didnt get after I was kicked out of the system at 18 with no support. Unfort, after 27 insutionalizations, I was too fcuked up. I needed therapu and help right away.... but no I have been lost and flipping and flopping failure after faulire, crisis after crisis, since I was 18 I am now 40 and over it all.

To enjoy life, and like you, help those around me. I love animals to death and it disgusts me that people actually hurt their own animals. They're innocent and they've done nothing to make the abusers the s***** person that they are. Aside from that, I also would love to help those by working in the medical/psychological field.

I have fulfilled all my dreams that can be fulfilled, there are only a few left but they are impossible to achieve so it's no good clinging on to life to expect the impossible to happen...so I have no dreams left to achieve, which is why I think it's time to leave ! I have had a very fulfilled life, difficult most of the time but always exciting, and I am very grateful for that, I know that there are many here on SS who did not have this luck...but when the bucket is full it's better to stop pouring otherwise it will overflow and become messy.

Writing and film making. Could be a thing and still might be possible if it were not for the graymatter of disappointment that is my brain, it's damaged by years of mental wear n Tear, too rough to use anymore.
I only think more of making tragic stories that emulate the viewpoint of people like us and to not convince people that what we are doing is good but instead to make them understand the why to our want to end the life we grow tired of.
We are a unique few for being so self-aware yet so damaged in a world that demands both the caring of life and the brutalist desire for perfection, it is the worst of balances Man has found itself in.
Here's to a hopeful future that I end up dead before 50 or preferably 30!
