I'm 24 closet MTF, and my reasons for wanting to die at this point have been mostly financial. I have barely 100 in saving and am basically unemployable. The last time I ever worked was a remote job at a help desk back in late 2022. I quit due to stress and burnout, but had I stayed I either would've been fired or laid off due to AI. Since then, there's this huge gap in my resume that grows larger and larger. I tried looking for work, applying for entry level positions just to get back into the swing of things, but gave up when none of them called back. Plus I see on the news people with degrees and shit who can't find work. So if people who would blow me out of the water can't find a job, then what chance do I have?
Since then, I've been completely reliant on my parents financially speaking. But when they pass away? I don't know what I'm gonna do. At this point, only reason I haven't done it now was not having any reliable methods on me, and not wanting to traumatize and abandon a dog we recently adopted. Plus the usual friends and family shtick. But I dunno, maybe when everyone is poor due to the economic collapse of my country, no one will be.
