Does SN go bad once opened?

I'm interested in trying the blood test to see its purity but need to be sure it doesn't degrade once it's opened. (Before anyone comes and roasts me saying I should have searched/researched, I already did and didn't find anything in the results. I also have brain issues that make it very hard for me to focus and concentrate.) I ordered from a Russian supplier and because of the somewhat low budget packaging, I'm worried about taking it. Any thoughts?

Oxidizing of SN takes many months. If it's sealed up real tight it should be good.

I want to open mine to do a test too, I've been told here by other members that opening it for a short while is not going to damage it just make sure it isn't opened for too long.

That's good news. How do you plan on testing yours? I have to search around for a lab, just curious to see how much it would cost me.

I believe that if you have the possibility to see the information about the seller (ex: the amount of successful sales and with good ratings), this may perhaps make you more comfortable with the purchase.

you don't have to go to any lab, you can test your SN in the comfort of your home with an aquarium testing kit

What about high temperature and humidity? Where i live it's hot as hell and extremely humid too. It's in the USA so SN is cheap and available so i will keep buying SN to keep it fresh. imo better to not rely on only 1 bottle.

I wish i would ctb already . Tired of everything.

Yeah if you live in a humid area, that's not good for the SN. In the U.S it's very easy to obtain SN so that should be alright.

Dear OP, I guess u can quickly take some SN to test out of the bottle with a dry spoon and seal the bottle tight immediately , this should keep the rest of the SN intact. At least I plan to do this , hope this method works. If any other member has any comment on this procedure pl do ... Hope this method works.

I posted about this but will summarize:

I tested SN on 2 occasions in the last 3-4 months. Both times about one gram (no scale but it was at least one gram, plus maybe a few mg more).

On both occasions I took it with a full stomach, no antiemetics and no antacids.

My blood pressure went down significantly within 10 minutes (maybe faster but only tested it after 10). i have never in my history of using this machine had readings this low. Each Systolic and Diastolic numbers were about 50 points DOWN from normal.

Even the 2nd time with the same bottle. I can't say for sure it was just as potent but it physiologically had the same effect on me, the 2nd time producing more nausea but that could just be what I ate.

I have 2 other completely sealed bottles to use.

I am shocked at how low my blood pressure dropped while feeling no real discomfort. Interesting.

Wrapping the salt in clingfoil, followed by aluminium foil, is a near perfect insulation that still allows for easy unpacking. It eliminates air almost completely, as well as humidity, while the aluminium protects it from direct sunlight and as long as not left in the sun: provides slight cooling effect.

@RileyTanaka hi , have u figured out a practical method to test ur SN and to retain the potency of the rest of the SN . even I am keen to know the procedure.... As I don't think I can purchase more bottles of SN as some have suggested .
