Discussion Does SN ever fail?

I have a fear that after I take SN, it won't work. I fear that nothing may happen or I may just get sick, become blue and get brain damage/become veggie.

I checked my SN using every test there is: blood, test strips, reagents. Tomorrow I will check it 3 times again to be sure.

Were there cases of people taking SN, of different purity levels (95-99%) who weren't found/saved but legit DIDN'T die?

Discounting times where people took curing salts etc

My SN seems legit but I am obsessed with making sure it works.

if you puke, and you only have one dose, you now have to find another method - I am preparing many methods for this reason:

SN / Amitriptyline / Full Hang + opiate & benzo OD / (possibly) Phenobarbital / ride off Beachy Head on a bike + opiates

Have you considered that this worry may be your Survival instinct kicking in and "protecting" you from going through with it?

I think that's worth exploring.

Either way: most reports I have seen from people surviving SN were d/t insufficient SN intake. As in less than 20g or using the wrong product entirely.

Unless you call for help I think it is very efficient and reliable at the min dose (25-35g depending on body weight).

Fair enough. I understand that and yes you don't want to do this twice.

I honestly don't recall seeing anyone who followed the correct process and reported surviving.

They all had one or another thing that went wrong:
- wrong dose
- wrong purity
- being found
- texting a friend

Or a combination of these.

Granted: we don't know who ended up as a veg in ICU. They wouldn't be aware of their situation or heavily sedated and definitely wouldn't be online to give us an update.
But most medical reports say that those who survived made a full recovery.

At what purity does SN become useless for CTB?

That's a math question.
Fatal dose required is a bit lower than 25g at 95% purity, so you could go down w purity to, say, 75% and still be successful UNLESS your body weight requires a higher dose.

And even then, you could make it up by using more, say 30 or 35g of a lower purity SN.

Think of purity as if it's coffee and milk.
The more milk (impurities) you add to your coffee, the more cups of coffee you need to drink to get X amount of caffeine.

Sn fails fairly often, based o0n posts on this site for people who were trying thisi, maybe 20% - 205% of the time. Usually what happens is that people throw up and sometimes they can for help or sometimes sokmeone in another apartment or hotel room calls falls- vomiting from this can be very noisy- or sometimes a person just rests after throwing up and feels sicks for s few days before recovdering. If an ambulance is called people generally get rescued by methylene blue. It sweems rare that anyone tries drinking a second glass because it is too hard to do when your throat has vomit all along it, plus you would probably throw the second glass right up. The closer you go to STan's Guide the better chance of success.

There have been a lot of people who have posted on this site that they were just about to take Sn who later came nack and posted that it didn't work due to vomiiting- as a percwent of who posted that they were about to take Sn a good estimate is 20 - 25% of the times people posted they were about to take Sn they later posted that it didn't work- usually due to vomiting, but sometimes because they got scared after taking it and called an ambulance. In some cases someone called an ambulance because they heard loud vomiting and called an ambulance for them. These have been posted on this site quite a few times, and one attempt to collect this data here estimated about 20% documented failure out of almost 100 attempts.

What kind of vegetables? Potatoes or cucumbers or spinach or maybe broccoli? I'll assume you're talking about cruciferous vegetables.

Seriously, I have done some searching on the internet for this and I have not found any cases like this so far- and I have looked at a few articles in medical journals. So far it seems that people either ctb or recover in all the known cases I have found., Of course it makes sense that becoming a vegetable may be a risk but it seems like a low risk.
