All men must die

I may be paranoid but sometimes when I hang out with acquaintances, some of them seem to see through my suicidal intentions, or my deteriorating mental state. They would be asking if I'm doing okay out of no where. One time a person commented on how heavy my eyes look. I always say I'm fine and lie about being tired from work etc. I also have a person whom I wanted to befriend with, but I give up after they avoid talking to me. I feel like that person can also sense something off about me and want to keep their distance.

I don't really tell anyone about my depression and suicidals, just try to be normal and polite when I socialize. But I'm more on the quiet side.

Do you have the same experience as mine?

I've had people ask if I'm okay, say that I seem off, but never actually state they think I might commit suicide

No one has ever told me they feared I was suicidal without me intimating as much beforehand. Over the course of my life since high-school, however, I have been asked countless times if I am "okay". Part of this is due to the simple fact that I am severely depressed and physically ill. The other component is that I have a natural resting facial expression that resembles a scowl.

I don't hide it from people who have no ability to interfere.

Had this melancholic aura since high school. People would avoid getting close to me because of it. I never really masked during that time so it was obvious just how miserable I was. Nobody ever really cared, they just distanced themselves to not have to deal with me.

It really just depends on who you're talking to. Some people can know you well enough to be able to tell when somethings even just slightly off, and others might just be incapable to comprehend of you doing such a thing.

I've always been very open about it personally, though. In my head, it's like... If these people can't stop me, I might as well make light of it!
