No. Boredom has zero bearing on my suicidality. I don't think it even had any bearing in the past either.

In fact being bored is probably my default state because nothing actually gives me that 'spark' of life.

Actually, I don't even remember the last time I felt 'bored' for that matter. It's supposed to be a signal that something is wrong. But I guess I'm just so disconnected now that I can't even determine if what I feel is boredom.

My internal search engine just never gives results anymore.

Boredom itself doesn't make me suicidal. Boredom already is a result after I became suicidal.

No. Pressure to do stuff actually makes me suicidal. Neverending work and chores. All to sustain a life I don't even want! I've become a master procratinator. I'm so good now at doing nothing, it's frightening.

I suppose boredom does hit now and again. I get sick of the game I was hoping to lose myself in. I don't know what to watch to distract myself. That's nothing compared to the frustration I feel right now because I know I need to push myself to do something constructive.

Depressed and suicidal people experience anhedonia and don't particularly enjoy life, everyone knows that. It's just a correlation. I see nothing of value in the "research".

I do understand as I personally have never had any interest in existing, I find it such a futile, undesirable burden to exist as a human and I'd just never wish for the suffering of existing rather I just want to not exist. For me simply just existing is enough to make me wish for death and I wish I was never burdened with this existence at all more than anything, the thought of being trapped in this existence for potentially decades longer is just so unbearable to me, I've always and only hoped for eternal sleep and for me non-existence really is all that's desirable.
