Just curious because i'm quite new to the site and am not 100% certain CTB is the way for me... but interested when I read many people explain they want to be alone and avoid been found as much as possible. Are there any out there who DO want to be found when they pass? Who maybe want to traumatise those who will find them (abusers etc.)? It's not something i would have thought about before coming here, so asking with a genuine and curious heart

People who intend to be found often do not really want to CTB rather it's a cry for help in my opinion. The problem with the idea of being found before death occurs is that if you're found too late you may end up as a veggie with brain damage in the worst case being unable to ever CTB again.

I personally don't want to be found if I CTBed because this is a final once and for all decision then. I do not want to end up as a veggie in this case.

I'll be found, but way too late for any happy heroes to save me. Dying alone is a must if you want to CTB with confidence. Unless of course your partner is willing to risk participation. I'll try to look my best for death, but I'll soon be ashes anyway.

I want to be "found," as im i dont want my body to decompose and have someone see that. But ideally i'd be found dead in the morning when someone realizes im not there and they search the property

I could be mistaken, but I think the OP means do you want someone specific to find you AFTER you ctb and are no longer going to have any chance of being saved....as in days or weeks later, just to traumatize that person who finds your lifeless corpse. If someone truly wants to be "found and saved" then it's most definitely just a cry for help and not an actual attempt.
