Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

the past month has lead to me watching and watching so many true crime and morbid stories on the internet. i've always thought these were topics that deserve attention, and to shy away from them is dangerous of us to do as a society. i think it HAS been affecting me though, i think surrounding myself with death has left me more anxious than usual. do you guys do this too? does it give you comfort or do these stories do the opposite affect for you?

I do this too. I'm not sure I do see it as self harm. More perculiarly as a way to make myself grateful for my life and choices. So- if I'm tempted to feel lonely or sad I don't have a partner for instance- I can think- yeah but, at least I'm not with someone abusive and violent. I think these documentaries serve as a warning too- to look out for certain traps. To try not to becone victims ourselves.

Sometimes I think I watch them just to get negative emotions expressed. Other times, it's simply to reconfirm what I already feel about the world. That there is so much corruption out there and that there are people it's best to try and avoid.

I think you're right though- it can make me perhaps more worried and paranoid.
