Not me. Here on SaSu we got people of many beliefs and religious standards, some of which also appear ridiculous to those not involved.
As long as he's not harassing anyone due to his world view and is providing decent answers for those in need then why bother?

I'd ask him myself, but some hackers got arrested in Australia recently, so I'm not sure if EmptyBottle is going to be around SaSu for a while...

There's not really much you can do to figure out why someone believes something unless you ask them directly, or know someone who knows that person and their reasoning.

I haven't seen their posts, but if I had to guess, I'd wager it's because of some religious belief system they have. Abrahamic religions are strongly anthropocentric (ex. Genesis 1:27), so it'd be a logical next step to assume the planet we inhabit is somehow special, although I probably wouldn't personally conclude the earth is flat if I were a Christian.

That being said, it might also just be matching usernames, and not the same person posting on two forums. SaSu recommends using different usernames from other websites on here, and 'EmptyBottle' is a fairly generic combination of words. I don't use 'pepperfarmer' as a username in any other website, and it's also a fairly generic combination of dictionary words. It's possible that if you went looking on other forums you'd find another 'pepperfarmer', but it wouldn't be me.
