Wow. What a science is even to kill yourself. Nothing more sad could happen to anyone who wants to go than to failure. Brain damage, bones fractures, emotional torture. I know infos about how nitrogen should work when inhaled in sealed space but, does anyone know the complete process? How much is a cylinder of 1kg equal to litres when released in atmosphere(exit bag and similar)? Would it be enough? What is most secure sealed place for execution? Scuba mask, etc.? How much cylinder cost?(cant find the price in my country) Is there anything like quality of nitrogen varying among countries? What kind of tube you need? What about impulsive movements your body can make when unconscious? Could they rip a scuba mask or tube or make cylinder move and therefore move tube or mask? I would just jump from some height but I am so anxious that I think I would survive a jump from even 100m. Hanging would be maybe effective option, but also requires knowledge and preparation. Nitrogen seems peaceful.

There are several threads on this but, so far the best one I've seen was the one by Gas Monkey. Not only does it list everything, he includes photos of his setup. It's not an easy or cheap setup, but it is effective when done correctly and like any other thing in life, the more time and money you invest, the greater you increase your chances of success.

Whatever you choose, I hope you can find the peace you seek.

Thank you. When i look for something it shows me only 3 threads of word i search and no more so it's annoying to search all the time when specifically looking for something. Are you talking about these 2 threads he made, with 300 and 110 answers or there are some more? Thank you

Same thoughts, but Nitrogen can be expensive and a little too obvious in my current living condition. I live in a small apartment with other people so a gas tank will raise questions. Nitrogen tanks here are expensive, regulators too. With a small tank and decent regulator, including the mask/exit bag, tubes, etc., I probably need to spend around 250$ which is steep compared to SN which I got for only 8$.

The main thing that interests me with Nitrogen is how peaceful it can be. It's an inert gas meaning the person may not experience the usual panic or shortness of breath associated with suffocation. Instead, they may feel lightheaded, confused, and tired before quickly losing consciousness. Some sources suggest that loss of consciousness can occur within 17 to 20 seconds of inhaling pure nitrogen. It displaces oxygen very effectively, depriving the brain's oxygen supply.

That is textbook definition, and is achievable if the condition is optimal. Yes, involuntary movements may occur and can mess with the set up. I want to do it in a forest, somewhere away from people preferably. If money is not an issue, I'd get a decent scuba mask. Something I can secure to my face that fits well and not flimsy.

HTP Argon CO2 Mig Tig Flow Meter 0-4000 PSI nitrogen regulator flow meter 10-60CFH Adjustable Argon Regulator Copper Flowmeter Gauge for Argon Helium Nitrogen(yellow)

Brand: Abizarch $20 !!!!!

5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars (6)

You can purchase this on Amazon and as you can see it has metered markings on the flow tube for Helium AND Nitrogen AND Argon. By the way 15 L/min on one gas does not correspond to the metered markings for the other gas because of gas density. So you cannot just use ANY flow meter for any gas. You need the correct meter.

Do you know if that flow meter's markings are in SLPM (liters/min) or in SCFH (cubic feet/hour)? Only the argon face is displayed in the listing. That means 31.7 (~32 SCFH) on that flow meter's nitrogen face, correct?
