If there's one doctrine keeping me from believing in the whole thing it's this one, specifically the eternal conscious torment model. I'm familiar with the arguments - Jesus himself very heavily implied it, if not outright preached it ("...these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life"); the penalty for offending an infinite being is infinite; souls are eternal. But it just isn't something I can believe wholeheartedly.
I've polled this forum before and I already suspect most people here don't believe in a hell but I would love to hear a take from anyone who does.
