I don't really think we'll really see a WWIII, because, quite frankly, I can't really imagine there being enough fronts for that. The most I could come up with would be the US and China duking it out on the Pacific, and even then, I doubt either country is willing to deal with that.

The current world order will probably undergo a more boring death. US has a political shakeup or mass event and its empire collapses, maybe the EU sticks with China from then on. Something like that

War is dirty. Many privileged people profit from war while the most vulnerable groups have to die an excruciating and undignified death they don't deserve. Many times war was romanticized in history. I think more people would argue against this take if we were in the year 1945. But people tend to forget unpleasant times way too fast.

I completely agree with that when it comes to conventional war. That's why I only promoted all out nuclear war here. Still seems quite insane, but I just had to think about "The Day After", that US TV movie from the 80s. There is a scene were theres just mushroom clouds going up everywhere and total devastation. I kinda would start partying if I saw that happening. Everyone else would probably be terrified, but I would welcome it. Im probably a sick, sick motherfucker.
