Discussion does anyone else get jealous of dead people?

I got jealous of a dead squirrel once. It had been hit by a car and was laying quite peacefully on the side of the lane. As I walked by, I thought to myself, I wish I was that squirrel.

Yes! All the time. Its understandable tbh though because its the act of suicide itself which is so hard and we all want to bypass the really shitty difficult bit.

I don't get jealous but I do get angry at myself when I hear about others leaving this world, because it reminds me that I'm still alive and that I really should start making plans.

My next door neighbor dropped dead of a heart attack just three days ago. I can't help but envy him.

Me too! Always felt that way my whole life. Always wished it was me, I always felt jealous because they know the ultimate peace, they found a way out. It sounds horrible doesn't it? I'm glad so many of us can relate

not really unless its someone that died on their sleep or something peaceful. If someone got murdered or suffered a lot then I'd never be jealous of something like that.

yeah i had a buddy ask me to kill myself with him last year. i decided to give myself another chance, arg im so pissed at myself for not joining him.

Yes, unless they died of torture or suicide. Though everybody should have the right to a peaceful death, nobody should be driven to kill themselves. But then I don't understand depression, I only understand being driven to die by circumstances when you really want to live.

yes! A best friend of mines sister killed herself a year ago, she was very young only 22 I think. I was jealous at the time and thought it would pass but a year later and I am still jealous!...nice to know i am not the only one who experiences this feeling at least!
