Doctor makes dying with dignity legal in Australia

So I just found out that the doctors that helped my friend end her misery got dying with dignity passed in Australia. I've spoken to him on the phone before about dying by pills. I can't believe how many people have not been successful at it and that scares the hell out of me. If anyone has tried dying by pills can you tell me what you took and the dosage? Because I have a hell of a ton of medication and very strong kinds too. So I'm interested to see what happened with those who have tried and not succeded. I'm going to call this doctor and tell him what I have and the dosages and see if he thinks it will do it.

I just read this today. He isn't going to be physically assisting them but he gives us advice on what to do. I don't live in Australia. He doesn't practice anymore.
