A stupid, silly poll I know...

I never used to wear odd socks. Maybe I still wouldn't if I was going out some place.

But recently, I just don't care really. I'll pick out a pair if I can but, it depends on how many I've washed. Washing machine is broken...

I think it looks kind of quirky though. . I remember a lady at work felt embarassed once because her shoes were odd. Same style, different colours. She was hoping a manager wouldn't notice. They could be really strict.

It's weird though. Maybe worrying generally- when you notice your self care standards are slipping. Even washing is becoming more erratic to be honest for me. Specific meal and sleeping times don't really exist now. I shirk all but absolutely essential chores. Maybe it's understandable it all slips when you don't care.

This is extremely humorous for me because I only wear odd socks. Someone a very long time ago told me it brings good luck, makes no sense but it just stuck with me.

I have legitimate contamination OCD, but it pokes through in many other ways the kind that people would just make jokes about.

It drove me nuts yesterday when I was folding my laundry and there was one sock that was very bright and looked relatively new and all the other others looked older and faded. Made me a bit insane I couldn't match it up better. Spent several minutes trying to combine the perfect pair.
At least I'll still wear them.
Nobody else would notice, even if they bent down to look at them and scrutinize them

I don't care to match socks, and when I used to hike/run, I liked wearing different colour socks with sneakers.

I used to wear them odd when I couldn't find a matching pair. But solved this by just buying a load of new ones, when I put them in the laundry basket I tuck them together so I dont lose them.

I like my socks I have grateful Dead socks and I have odd and unusual socks. They don't have to match just cover my toes. Some people have foot fetishes I have foot phobias. I hate my feet and don't want to see them
