I'm ashamed that people will know I killed myself, and that my family will have to live with that stigma. But I just can't go on for much longer. My mom is continually researching "alternative" things that she thinks will make my life more bearable (a lot of which I feel is just quackery), but I'm just so sick of trying. No more doctors, no more tests, no more meds.

It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I just want to splatter myself against the pavement next to an orphanage or off of some monument as a last "f*ck you" to the world, other times I wish I could just disappear into nothingness, but thankfully I'm feeling far better since the last fortnight.

This is a good question. I think I'd want certain people to know, like my ex for example. I feel a lot of guilt about my parents knowing I committed suicide, however. Suicide is in the family and it's heartbreaking for those who survive the deceased.

I would like for it to look like an accident for 3 reasons. 1. I don't want the world to think it defeated me. 2. I don't want my family to go through that. 3. So my family can get the life insurance money, If I have a policy when it happens.

If you live with others it would be best to make it look like a suicide or they could end up getting accused of murder and threw in jail

That's actually a good point some people may not think about. I rent my mother's basement apartment and plan to OD with Fentanyl. I have a history of drug abuse so I think it would be safe in my situation. But that is good to alert others on.

I wonder, if suicide was a button that erased the entire timeline of your existence, erased all your relationships, all of your ego and reputation, all your interactions with other people, you just never were born, would the suicide rate go up, or down?
