Worked for Ximena Knol, Shawn Shatto and those four unnamed individuals mentioned in ppeh, so I am having second thoughts about my second thoughts.
Not sure what to think but not believing in a "suicide powder" goes against common sense or at least I wouldn't take sn without planning to leave this world.

Peacefulness 7 might mean relatively comfortable if glass is half full.

Actually, wouldn't it make sense to trust SN rather than not? Like, knowing that one has a peaceful and reliable method in the vein of N - although not being quite N but anyway - will ease one's anxiety even today. In the end it likely works.

I'm willing to bet that the complete SN regimen (meto regimen, taking 800mg Tagamet or other antacid, etc.) were not properly carried through in most of the cases that resulted in pain or extreme discomfort. Using the linked thread above as an example, it is pointed out that the OP didn't take any antacid and also only took a stat dose of meto instead of doing a prolonged regimen.

Also, considering the fact that the PPeH only listed the common symptoms of hypoxia (which, from what I've read, aren't too distressing) when using this method according to their guidelines, it further suggests the importance of following the regimen strictly.

Do you have any clue if sn is still fatal after vomiting several times? And how long it would take if vomited several times? It seems anti emetic is not enough to stop vomiting and i also plan to just take a stat dose as im forced to take 300mg seroquel everyday.

I don't. Due to my sad physical condition I've had a lot of time to go through the site and read about the numerous failed attempts including the one quoted above. I know I personally wouldn't be able to go through the pain and vomiting without calling for help. Plus I'd probably be discovered since I live in a condo building with noisy neighbors. I'm sure it's fatal for some but I wouldn't take the chance. I need to succeed on my first try

I also take quetiapine for years and have also developed a tolerance, my fear is the meto due to the tolerance acts badly. How do you even determine if the meto works? can you test that before?

That's the thing, someone on here posted that they did the meto regimen and ingested salt as a test but vomited. All these freakin threads being opened up about SN reliability is bothering me. I get the doubt but seriously.

deaths of some members of this forum who died of SN have been confirmed. "do you trust SN?" what does that mean? is the chemical lethal? it is .. is the method reliable? depends on several factors..is it peaceful? as much as you make it peaceful.

Whether it's reliable in your mind or not.

I've still wondered if the regimens last dose is supposed to be at 48 hours or if you have one last dose 8 hours after that or on the day. Also seems to be people taking 20-30mg as a last dose on the regimen so some clarification would be good
Were you able to find out? I'm still confused about that

Nothing really confirmed; I think most people still take a stat dose at the end of the regimen; I'm going to take 30 at the 48h mark.

I've got SN. But I'm not sure. I mean, I'm kind of spontaneous.
So You have to go on a 48h diet, and then take antiemetics, and then.....
Hard for me to be sure that I still will be in crisis.

No; only 8 hour diet of no food before SN.

The 48h metoclopramide regimen is there to make sure you got enough anti-vomiting drug meto in your system in case you would otherwise throw up the poison. I am not sure why the meto regimen is a holy grail on this site as it's not that big of a deal to just take a stat dose of metoclopramide like suggested in the Peaceful Pill Handbook's chapter on SN proper.

For me the biggest problem is having the cojones to drink a lethal poison.

From what i reading, N puts you to sleep quickly and then goes to work which is why its got such a high peaceful rating. SN isn't a sedative. But the fact it reduces oxygen to the brain will first make you drowsy and then the various stages of lethargy till you reach unconsciousness. During that time you may experience symptoms that include nausea, headaches, rapid heartbeats, shortness of breath and stomach ache. People with underlying health issues may pass quicker than healthy subjects. The reliability score in the PPeh seems to come from the fact it can be resolved if intervention happens, where with Sodium Azide, there is no cure which is why the reliability score is so high in comparison. but at the end of the day, fatal is fatal.

Maybe because of the extrapyramidal effects.

Yup there are those. But then there's ranitidine/cimetidine to consider as well. Kind of a complicated method in the end. I wonder how many around the world end up taking just SN and nothing else as it's commonly used in kitchens for preservation.

I've heard of people posting on this forum saying its possible to go blind from SN? Who knows something about this? That sounds a bit scary if you end up going blind, yet surviving it. I posted this in another SN thread, but not much answers

There is medical documentation/reports outside of this site that say intervention worked and full recovery was made. But it is only a sample of reports, doesn't speak for every poisoning event. Also any underlying health issues you have (known or unknown) can make things faster or different

Sounds like fearmongering. I think what happens is that you'll die like the feral pigs. Remember that the researchers studied SN's effectiveness extensively with the wild pigs before it was finally okayed as a swift, effective and humane pig bait in Australia.

But one could have a plan b (rope, gun, SA, whatever) at hand just in case the attempt goes south.

I think SN is a very reliable method as long as it's done properly and you are in a place where you won't get "saved". You definitely need enough time alone.
I think lots of chemicals and medicines are tested on pigs as the effects are similar to how humans would react.

The more I think about this method, the more inclined I am to think about injecting it. No chance of vomiting it up and gets into the bloodstream much quicker
