I see a decent amount of Q&A, polls, AMA, etc. do you like to participate in these? What do you think of these? Are they just a "low effort posts?"

Yes, I like polls here. I like getting input from members here. It's good for distraction and to make us think too.

I haven't found poll posts necessarily low effort to make either- when I have made them. There are only so many question options. It can be a pain in the arse trying to cover all the options in that.

I think it's nice to have a mixture here though. Some venting posts, some long articles on a subject, some posts questioning what we think about something or, what similarities we share. Sometimes, the results can be surprising too. But- they show interest in other people. Maybe not sincere, deep interest but as a starting point sometimes.

A lot of my posts are low-effort. I don't care when others make low-effort posts because aside from things that are already sticky posts I see posts as socially interactive more than anything else. I like when people just express themselves with a back and forth as opposed to designing questions and answers as though this is a legitimate academic setting.
