• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Gonna try and explain this the best I can . At times when I'm feeling depressed i feel an inner voice attack me , like "how are you depressed? you don't have it as bad as others, your just being pathetic " things like that , and when it comes to CTB , it's kinda the same , just something within saying you can't do it because you don't deserve it . Does anyone else kinda go through things like this?

I have a lot of that "You don't have it as bad as others" which is obviously stupid but I just can't get that voice out of my head. This voice in my head tells me that I'm weak and pathetic all the time because others have it worse and here I am complaining...

Yeah it's so weird to not be able to accept your own depression. Just makes you feel less than human even more to not be allowed to to experience your own emotions

Nope, I'm completely aware that we live in an absurd reality. My depression is a natural response to my environment. Honestly, i might question your sanity if you're not depressed.

Depression doesn't always depend on your present life circumstances. Take Chester Bennington, for example. He was an extremely talented singer for an extremely successful band who, sadly, hanged himself. He had often spoken about his depression so, while he was living a life most could only dream of he had also been sexually abused in childhood. Early trauma (and not necessarily as bad as sexual abuse) can have negative and lifelong effects on one's stress response, especially if there is already a genetic predisposition. None of us asked to be depressed and none of us deserve it.

for me it's mostly: "you're just upset you can't have things your way" because that's what everyone would always tell me. perhaps they're right. i was always a little shit when things didn't go in my favor. but oh well.

That's why I always say that, at the end of the day, I'm my own worst enemy.
