I mean there seems to be a silent majority in the US. And if this threads barely gets responses this is very telling.

But I have to emphasis still if you voted Trump you should now feel very ashamed of yourself. (jk)

And despite the hate I get, I unironically feel bad for the portion that aren't MAGA republicans and simply applies the lesser evil logic but ends there. Discourse is about to die.

Only one idea has to be the absolute right the only conclusion of disagreeing is you being filled with hate or trying to be special lol, this ideology that is gonna lead to mass-suicide.

What do you mean with "Do you ever wonder if these things are fixed?" Do you mean the stigmatization?

In Germany there is the idea to integrate the right-wing extreme/populist party in a government to dismantle them. They will prove they have nothing to show. Especially, right-wing media wants to see them in government allegedly with this purpose. I have doubts whether they are honest players.
However I don't know what we could do instead.

The Trump victory shows me maybe we have to focus more on economic wealth. However, capitalism works with ups and downs. And there will always be recessions.

I have the feeling we are fucked beyond repair. I could imagine we all go downturn and we repeat the mistakes of the 20th century just again.

As in- the actual elections themselves. Especially now with online votes. Hackers and the like. I'm sure there have been cases where country's elections have been messed around with. I expect America and others have done it to other countries in fact. Maybe that's wild conspiracy though...
