• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

God forbid if there is any form of reincarnation. I don't want to go through this ever again.

For most of my life I did not believe in any form of reincarnation and was a materialist, however after reading and hearing about integrated information theory(modern panpsychism) and other even more divergent ideas I am not as sure. For one materialism seems to be missing something; an answer the so called "hard problem of consciousness".

What specific theory I don't know, but it just seems more likely to me, that we come and go and are part of the universe exploring itself and ideas from religions, NDE and drug induced experiences about us all being all one, for example and as well as other things would to be a base of some of the things I believe are true. Any too human centrist idea seems contrived to me though but aspects that coincide from different domains as stated above seem more possible then a "dead" universe.

I completely understand and I sometimes also wonder what I have done to deserve this IF karma is a thing in that sense, however I still think a organic consiousness "exporing/waking up" seems to better fit for the uncalled suffering we see in the world. I find it hard to see any way to justify all the suffering in the world in any meaningful sense.

I'm more of an agnostic rather than part of any particular religion/spiritual practice, so I'm not too sure myself. It might be true, but so could Islam, Christianity or any other afterlife described in any religion or belief. If it is true though I hope I get to come back as a cat, or maybe another animal. I always wondered what they're thinking about...and it would be wonderful to have a break from all the pressure that comes with being human. Be this, be that, fight for my every right, fight against my human nature, sometimes I want to be like an animal and just exist lol

Not with conciousness as that can only exist in a brain. But we turn into something that benefits nature whether cremated or rot into the ground so we live on in some way I suppose.

We are just energy so i want to believe that our energy does transfer somewhere because energy cant be created nor destroyed
II think if we are buried in the earth or eaten by something our energy is definitely transferred, but hopefully, we won't be conscious of it. I like the thought that my energy can go on to sustain the life of some other creature but the idea of conscious reincarnation is terrifying. Imagine going to all the trouble of planning and actually performing our exits from life only to pop up again like wack-a-mole xD

I don't believe there's a supernatural element to the word. It's an incredibly hard concept to grasp, but the nothingness we perceived before birth is likely what we will return to after death. It's reassuring, in a way -- we are returning to something we have already experienced, which makes it far less scary.

No I don't but it's a interesting concept to think about. Maybe I could reincarnate into someone who isn't destined to become a social failure.

I guess I'll just have to find out. Which I won't. I just want this current life to be done and over with. Living another 50+ years is a night mare

I believe in god and afterlife but not reincarnation because it doesn't make sense.

Definitely not. Glad when everything will finally be over.

We are just consciousness in a brain in a human body that is extinguished when we die.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I do not. I believe there is nothing after this life, we return to the same nothingness where we were at before we were born, like how time passed and we were not aware of it. Once we lose consciousness, that is it. I hate the thought of any kind of life after this one.
