If so, why doesn't (s)he listen when I beg him/her to end me?

Because God isn't the type to kill people just because they ask to be killed. Instead the Bible says if we pray to Him and ask for strength to deal with whatever were going through He will grant us it. The Bible also says God does not test us with more than we can bear. Think of everything in this life as test.If so, why doesn't (s)he listen when I beg him/her to end me?
Is there proof anything the bible says is true?Because God isn't the type to kill people just because they ask to be killed. Instead the Bible says...
Yes. As someone who has spent a lifetime denying the power of emotions, I, regrettably have to admit that physical suffering (IMO) doesn't even begin to company to the agony of emotional suffering. I have always been in hell, and the only end to it that I see is to ctb. We're in hell already.
God does not test us with more than we can bear.
Feel this too much. There's just no way God is real, to the point I get angry when I see someone quoting the Bible. Just... No. Call me religiously intolerant or whatever, I don't care. The Church is responsible for SO many deaths.I'm sorry you're suicidal, but shame on you for repeating that heartless Christian cliché. Where was your benevolent God when I was 5 & begging Him to make my father stop raping me? Are you aware that there are people in this world who rape, torture & kill children?![]()
Yes I'm aware. I'm sorry that scripture was used incorrectly and taken out of context. The actual scripture (1 Corinthians 10:13) refers to temptation not hardships. "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God isfaithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."I'm sorry you're suicidal, but shame on you for repeating that heartless Christian cliché. There's no point in continuing this discussion. Believe whatever makes this horrible life more bearable for you...Yes I'm aware. I'm sorry that scripture was used incorrectly and taken out of context. The actual scripture (1 Corinthians 10:13) refers to temptation not hardships. All I know is it doesn't make sense how religious people paint a picture of an all loving god, love thy neighbour and whatnot, but if you look closely that's not quite the case when they condemn gays to hell and people who commit suicide to an eternity of suffering.
Gay people don't choose to be gay like so many people seem to believe. The choice is "will I be true to myself or pretend I'm straight"? And even if being gay was a choice, what makes it so wrong? How is anyone's sexual and romantic life anybody's business if it's not hurting anyone? Why would it be a sin in the eyes of a benevolent god?
If there was a god and he was benevolent, why would he not intervene and make live bearable for us? Instead all we get is sucky relatives, shitty medical care, absent friends... A society that is simply not made for vulnerable people.
Religion was made by humans to control humans with fear of hell and promises of paradise to those who follow it.
We're in hell already.
I believe in a benevolent God, but not that He involves Himself with peoples personal lives. Humans are components of a galactic experiment at best, and only the chosen are of value; the rest are plants. The fortunes/ misfortunes that abound here are not the work of God, but the work of influences and space aliens who manipulate the planet and it's inhabitants in order to keep them enslaved here, either through addicition to "life" or through suffering. This garden/world has been taken over by the weeds and things have gone too far with zero chance of ever getting better. Humanity can start righting their wrongs by putting itself to death, starting with politicians. If I were God, I would kill all those motherfuckers around me.
Never tried anything like that, but being depressed and suicidal for so long has led me down some interesting paths.No.
That's crazy man ... ever tried DMT?
I have done deemsters multiple times... you?No.
That's crazy man ... ever tried DMT?

Cross your fingers, you'll get the same outcome.

I'm still 100% an atheist, though.
