i can go multiple days without eating and my reasoning for it (gonna sound a bit stupid) is because im too "lazy(+broke) to eat". my intention is actually to gain weight, so it does seem a lil counterintuitive. people around me (especially my mum) tell me that i have an eating disorder and i need to get it checked out, but i genuinely don't think so- maybe im js delusional. as im writing this, it's been over 2 days of no food and barely any water but i honestly don't feel hunger or the need to eat anymore.

I have a similar problem, it's probably an ED. If you can, you should try to seek professional help to get you through it; and try to eat smaller foods packed in nutrients, it helps easing into eating more regularly.

Hope you the best!

I'm not sure if being too "lazy" and broke to eat would qualify as a ED. The "lazyness" that you're feeling might be from feeling depressed and lack of energy or wishes to do take care of yourself fully in certain ways due to that depressive and drained feeling. Being too broke to eat also kinda of forces you to starve, doesn't sound like you're forcing yourself to starve on purpose or out of a body image related issue.

Does it feel obsessive? Are you nervous or anxious or compulsive about eating food, gaining or losing weight? I'd say I've had borderline eating disorders in the past and massive anxieties around food.

That's not to say it isn't an ED. Regardless though, not eating for a few days isn't great. Like @lionetta12 said, it almost seems more like a symptom of other things though- not being bothered to take care of yourself or your health. So- maybe more like depression. Not that I'm qualified to know. Do you end up binging after fasting so long?
