Do all Mexico Parcel to go to Customs Office in UK

Hi,

What is the likelihood of N from D be routed to a Customs Office in UK and is this something to really worry about?
Will it be opened for testing and what will they test it for?

No problem with customs but have to pay import fee

According to tracking I was supposed to receive it today but looking closely at tracking it seems to have been sent to a customs office but bizarrely the tracking still says expected today. Bit confusing and worrying.

What does it say? I think all parcels coming into the country go through the customs office. Only a tiny fraction of them are physically inspected though.

Tracking says


Label Created (marked ticked)

On the Way (marked in bold)

Out for Delivery (greyed out / unticked)

Delivery (greyed out / unticked)


When I expand the tracking the Shipment Progress shows "On the Way" Castle Donington, UK


But the tracking is still showing expected delivery to be today.

I've had parcels held up for a week before being released by Heathrow customs. It's never been anything illicit but I would have been worrying if it had been.

I don't think you should worry yet though - it sounds like it's going through the system like it should.
