• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

To face the people around me dismissing my journey when they hear or I tell them what I achieved in life is another level of painful loneliness

I buy something cool? Oh great whatever, could've saved it to buy something better
I graduated from higher education? Meh, everyone else get education these days, nothing special
I got my dream job? Whatever, it's nothing special, welcome to adult life
I'm saving up and finally able to bought a better place to live? Whatever, welcome to adult life

No congratulations, no excitement, no celebration

I know I shouldn't live for other's validation, but I cannot lie to myself, it's painful facing indifference when I see other people get congratulated and celebrated for the smallest thing they achieved in life like something as simple as finding new hobby, I envy them

Much the same situation here, but it's not just lack of celebration. It's active discouragement, and occasionally outright sabotages.

I'm not sure to what extent our experiences are the same, but I've found that the term 'antisocial punishment', explains a lot about my situation.
If people see other mechanics at play, I'd very much like to hear about it.

Moving away from low achieving circles seem to help significantly. It's easier said than done, though.
