  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

It seems like every day I care less about what this world has to offer. All the things that are supposed to be exciting or interesting aren't. My disrespect for society and the delusions of modern culture is complete, but normally hidden to avoid hostilities.

To an extent, I'm disgusted by sex and even life itself. It doesn't seem to produce something worthwhile, what I can see isn't pretty. Animals struggling against each other, parasites, predators. Humans deceiving and abusing those that are beneath them. Advances in science and technology, which could give us dignity and answers to life greatest mysteries, instead seem to nudge us into a darker horizon each year. For example, with the introduction of smartphones and social media, something horrible has been done to our minds.

The fakery, madness and nonsense are overwhelming on the human end, and on the biological end as we all know there is aging, diseases and the pain that unfulfilled instincts/needs yield.

"It's just all so tiresome."

I have even began to be silent in the face of ignorance or deceit. It seems like responding/arguing doesn't work anyway. Everyone will get what they deserve for going along with the global insanity. The day I started doing this, I knew I was one step closer to suicide (or maturity, perhaps).

I can relate to everything you said. All I wish for is to escape the madness.

I have stopped since quite some time to find anything joyful. All I do is just escape from reality and survive, walking like a zombie throughout the days with no aim at all. Gave up of trying to actively participate in this shitshow of pure insanity, instead I just watch it from afar.

I absolutely agree with this one. Technology could have been used for ACTUAL advancement and discover new things since we still don't really know much about the planet we live in, even if we claim we do. Oceans are pretty much undiscovered for example. We could try find more about the human mind and alleviate the pain of our fellows, but I guess profit speaks stronger. Of course, when it doesn't do that? Instead it is used only for destructive reasons, in wars, to torture, to destroy, to demolish, to ravage, to make people dumber. And this, speaks a lot about the human race. Just savages who derive enjoyment from hurting others. This is why we'll never have nice things.

I think we have more than enough initiative around to look for things outside of us. I dont think we care so much whats goes inside of which is sad and unbalanced

Space travel has been very disappointing in the last 50 years, though.

But I agree that what's within should come first, however psychology seems more concerned with social engineering than with promoting mental health (looking within and all that).

I wholeheartedly agree hence whatever current feat in psychology that exists and is focused on now is too scoped and unbothered much about digging more at real causes of mental suffering.

I think human nature is worth fostering and preserving, despite all of our terrible flaws, as we're capable of achieving some truly incredible leaps in scientific progress that make life exciting and the future worth looking forward to. We haven't been doing much of that lately, but that's ok, because the potential for greatness is still there - in other words, there *is* still hope for humanity as a collective.

I think it's fine to give up on life tho. The world is too unpredictable and chaotic, and if you happen to become a victim of it you might end up in an unbearable predicament that makes life simply not worth living.

Here's hoping that SpaceX can succesfully pull off starship and superheavy, certainly hope to see it go to orbit and back before I CTB.

I agree. We're blindsided as a species, collectively all delusional over our worth. Our consciousness does not comprehend or tolerate the fact that it really is all insignificant. We act like things matter when our existence is spent in an instant.

Shutting off consciousness makes sense to me. Being aware of the facts only achieves disassociation from everything and everyone. I don't want to be awake anymore… it's just so exhausting pretending to care and play the part that society demands.
