I have used mushrooms plenty of times but have never really tried to implement much change in my life after them. It has been a process but they have slowly changed me into a kinder and more empathetic person. I understand how the world works and how people function emotionally, and it has allowed me to truly wrap my mind around life. I have recently met a girl who I like very much--she is very similar to me, I would almost say on the level of being my twin flame. Unfortunately we live quite a ways apart so I do not plan on trying to start a relationship with her for the time being, as much as I would like to try. I would rather things develop naturally or not at all, and I am completely satisfied with being her friend at the moment. It makes me quite happy to talk to her regardless. With this newfound happiness, I have found that both my physical and mental health have improved greatly, and I wish to see the future unfold rather than giving up on the life.

I am interested in your story and your experience with mushrooms. I did not realize that the spores are legal in so many states. I'm glad you're doing so well!

Here are a few benefits that I've noticed passively appear over the past year of using mushrooms:
  1. I can now get into the flow state much easier. I can almost do a mental "snap" of my fingers and I will be in the flow state as long as I am in some activity. Missing a bunch of shots in an FPS and not focusing? Snap. I am now so focused that I am on the level of being an aimbot.
  2. I've become significantly better at reading the deeper meanings of everything that people do. What they mean by their tone, what they are saying, their body language, their facial expressions. I used to struggle with this greatly but now I can extrapolate what someone is really thinking with relative ease by observing them while in conversation. This also applies to my own behavior. I now frequently analyze what my actions and thought patterns mean in the bigger picture and learn how I can improve on them.
  3. Eyesight is better and HPPD from neurotoxic drugs are gone. During a suicidal period, I went on a diphenhydramine binge which completely fucked up my eyesight. I couldn't pinpoint a single object in the night sky because everything was constantly moving and swishing around like chaotic tv static. My night vision was horrible. Now, my HPPD is completely gone. Interesting because psychadelics CAN cause HPPD, but I think because mine was caused by neurotoxic drugs the neurogenic properties of the mushrooms reversed it in a way.
  4. I can say what I am thinking with much more ease and make my point much more clearly when I speak. I used to have this issue where I would have plenty to say, but when the time came to say it I basically just spit out word vomit that was hard to truly understand. Now I can express what Im thinking to others with clear detail and without needing to think about what Im saying at all. This in turn has negated some of my social anxiety.
  5. I am much more empathetic and am able to easily understand a person's situation, and say the exact thing that they need to hear at that moment with relative ease.
While my depression and suicidal thoughts are still somewhat present, it is also important to note that I am living in very poor circumstances, which have likely caused me to develop the depression/suicidality. I have a more positive outlook on life, but because of these bad circumstances I am still prone to be depressed.

I am living in poor circumstances, too, with PTSD. Do you microdose mushrooms or go on full blown trips?
