Discussion Did you cry during your past attempts?

Some people say you have to be perfectly stoic and that any sign of fear or doubt means you should stop, I don't know if that's very realistic for most humans though. For those of you who attempted in the past, did you cry during it? I did for at least 3/4 of my attempts (can't remember if I did on my first one), but most of my attempts failed due to method errors caused by a lack of knowledge rather than panic or changing my mind.

My first attempt was with ethylene glycol poisoning. In hindsight it was an extremely stupid, awful way to try. I broke into crying several times, both from of how awful I felt and because the antifreeze tasted absolutely terrible no matter what I did to try to cover the bitter flavor. But there was no sense of panic or regret. After I had managed to down the stuff, I felt pretty calm.

As for my second one, I tried to hang myself but did basically everything wrong as it turns out. That time I remained stoic throughout, there was no crying and I felt no doubts about what I was doing.

Nope, I felt kind of weird. It felt like I was just watching myself through a TV.
