I myself haven't tried it though a lot of those who have and failed mainly boiled down to either of the following.
1.) Rope/Object snapped
2.) What they were suspended to gave out
If you do this method and those don't fail you can be almost guaranteed of a successful CTB.

i had tried full hanging but first, the rope (which was too thin looking back) kept ripping off a few sec after jumping but i would add more layers of rope, reattach it anyway and try again. but then my wardrobe's upper door on which the rope was thighly attached, had suddendly broken and fell on me
so i was left there lying on the floor with this heavy door on my back. at that time i was still a minor and living with my parents so the sound of the door falling scared the s out of me and i had to explain how tf i had broken it. so i gave upSimilar threads
