I'm considering it now too, however I feel like there aren't enough words, nor do I have the energy or motivation, for me to actually be able to accurately articulate and convey the complexity of my situation and mental state which led up to me making this choice, and I fear being misunderstood, so maybe it's best to say nothing at all

Personally I don't think I could ever do anything like this publically.

If I fuck up and don't die then there's no way of framing it other than a suicide attempt when afterwards something is posted like that.
If I do die, whats the point? who cares after I'm gone? most people don't make such a spectacle of themselves in death so why should I?
I don't want random strangers to act like they suddenly know all of my problems and understand them just from one post after I die.
My family already knows and doesn't care, any online friends I have ever had know and don't care so there's really nothing doing something like that would accomplish.

I know there are apps/websites you can use but I'd like to know what ones are best or that anyone could recommend

I haven't tried it myself but you can google about leaving a timed post on Instagram. You'll find articles about it which will basically give you names of apps and sites you can use to do it. You'll probably have to login to any one such app/site and you can create the post like you would and edit the time you want it to post.

That guy who didnt have many friends was probably a good one too. The suicidal people who I know/knew are some of the smartest and most wonderful.

...And often the ones that drove them to that point are still around.

The post has been removed now, but I did manage to see it before it was. It seems he had tried everything and just could not escape his depression, which is very relatable. Regardless of how many friends you may have, depression does not discriminate. Very sad.

I know. I replied to a post once stating that suicide is in no way selfish. Of course, someone reported it, it went against Instagram's guidelines and I was given a crisis number to ring if I was feeling suicidal! Just the usual bullshit.
