Ethanol is a respiratory depressant. I read everywhere benzos don't kill, but if mix with alcohol and etc. you can die... And you can.

Ethanol alone can kill you. Benzos alone can kill you. Doesn't mean that either one or both together is reliable. Most people who OD on benzos and alcohol survive, the exceptions are outliers. There are countless threads on here giving first hand accounts of survival.

"sometimes" - that happens far too rarely to be a reliable method. If alc was that poisonous it'd be long banned!

This is the average day of every college student, and I have not of heard a single person dying during any of my years in college. I got to watch those drug education videos in health class too about people dying from alcohol, but those are way way way more rare than people think. The chance of dying by alcohol poisoning is 142857. For comparison, the chance of dying in a car crash are 1 in 106. Ignore the number for "alcohol-related deaths", because it could mean like liver disease or a car crash while under the influence and shit like that.

i overdosed with alcohol and 45mg xanax. just basically woke up with someone pulling a catheter out of me and being stuck in a psych ward for like 6 days. if i were to ever do it again, id just add in a body of water because 100% you're gonna pass out. i can't recall beyond like 20 min of it but i never was unconscious. i guess i was talking and grasping my throat the whole time. regardless, i wouldn't think it'd matter if you were still conscious or not. you'd still drown from not being able to cognitively function anymore
