Despair is a rational response to the absurdity and randomness of this world. Many years of professional help and medications later and I haven't been able to change my mind on that. Maybe someone in this thread can, but really this world is an unfair chaotic lottery…

Sometimes I feel positive and strong but most of the time no.

I understand and it feels like that to me as well, I'd never feel positive about this cruel and torturous existence where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel, to me existence will always be an abomination that just causes harm and suffering and I wish I never suffered more than anything.

Existence does feel really pointless, I've been back and forth from some vague form of spirituality to materialism. Sometimes I find myself optimistic in the fact none of this should exist and its all by chance. But a lot of the time I struggle to find a reason to keep going. I understand existence is pain but why do I need to participate? Especially on my own its fucking exhausting dealing with life and my mental struggles and somehow find a motivation to wake up in the morning.

I'm sorry you're dealing with loneliness, I hope you find relief from suffering in whatever way is best for you. I'm not a materialist anymore but I also understand the feeling of going back and forth
